ROUND ROCK — In a clash of Central Texas titans, Round Rock landed the first punch. Hudson Ellis' walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh gave the Dragons a 1-0 win over Westlake Thursday in Game 1 of a Class 6A regional quarterfinal series at Round Rock High School. In front of a standing-room only crowd where fans lined the right-field fence, the outfield and stood at the top of the west bleachers of the football stadium that overlook the baseball field, Round Rock put together three of its six hits in the seventh, with Ellis slicing a single into right field to score Cade Algaier for the win.
